Musical beginnings: I learned to play the piano early on, sang in choirs and learned to drum at 14 years old. While studying jazz drumming, I proved myself as a songwriter and singer. Before releasing seven albums with my own bands (Ganes und Me + Marie) and touring through Europe, I gained a great deal of stage experience as part of Hubert von Goisern's band. Music took me to Munich, where I have a studio and have met many musicians and artists with whom I have founded many projects, produced and composed theatre and film music. My own current bands are Van Damme 38 and Maria de Val. I perform live as drummer, singer or keyboard player with Angela Aux and Aloa Input and am part of the music in the piece Eure Paläste sind leer at the Münchner Kammerspiele.

Career highlights: Linz Europe Tour (Goisern goes East), Ganes at the Circus Krone, Me + Marie at the Great Escape Festival.

Favourite music: Cate le Bon, Kevin Morby, Khruangbin, Velvet Underground, Helge Schneider, Mina.
